Our Mission & Vision
Big Lake Baptist Church exists to worship God and disciple our members to become active in service ministries in order to share the Good News of Jesus Christ while growing together in fellowship.
Our church is a place where individual lives are being transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. We organize our time, gifts, and finances around worship of God, discipleship of the members, service ministry, evangelism of the lost, and fellowship of the family.
Big Lake Baptist Church is a participating member of the Southern Baptist Convention and affirms the Baptist Faith & Message for doctrinal purposes. We are further members of the Alaska Baptist Convention and the Hatcher Pass Baptist Association. While are church participates in these organizations for furthering the Kingdom of Christ; our church remains autonomous in its governance.
